Our Developmental Disabilities Program provides respite and family relief for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis, utilizing bonded and insured Developmental Service or Child and Youth Workers with appropriate credentials and background checks.
We also offer high ratio, 24-hour intensive support Residential Services for adults with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis. Improving Lives Beeton House, is a large estate home on ten acres in the rolling hills of New Tecumseth in South Simcoe County. Our second new facility, opening July 2017, Improving Lives Greenbank House, is a large estate home located in the lush forest country of Durham Region, about a half hour north of Whitby/Oshawa. Both houses are fee-for-service group home facilities that meets all ministry quality assurance standards. We operate our residential services, day programs and out-of-home respite from these spacious, high-quality facilities.
Our Eldercare and Disabled Assistance program focuses on helping elderly and infirm people stay in their home longer and in better health. We work with elders, people sent home from hospital without adequate assistance, and individuals with dementi as and other disabilities, supporting a better quality of living at home or in supported living homes with assistance.
Our compassionate caregivers, residential service workers, respite and community support staff stand ready to make life easier for people facing challenges. They’re carefully selected, trained, insured and steeped in our “Improving Lives Values”. In addition to meeting medical, personal care, respite, behavioural, residential and community support needs, we are passionate about helping individuals and families re-discover favourite hobbies, leisure activities and pursuits.
